I made this up when I had some okra and poppadum. Poppadum are India version of potato chips. They are made out of chickpea flour and high in protein. |
Ingredients
- 1 cup diced okra
- 1/2 tablespoon ghee
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 2 whole papadum(Indian potato chips)
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 dash salt
Recipe
Heat up oil in skillet. When skillet is hot add cumin seeds. When they start toasting add the okra. Cook for around 3 minutes and then add your spices. Cook until okra is done. Add the crushed poppadums’ and 1/4 cup water. Sauté for a few minutes. Add salt to taste.
