This is quick and easy to make. When I lived in Maui I would make this recipe. It’s delicious. |
Ingredients
- 1/2 block firm tofu
- 1 small onion
- 1/2 cup mushrooms
- 1 cup spinach
- 4 tablespoons Bacon bits, meatless
- 1 dash salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- 8 oz grated edam Cheese
- 1 oz Chardonnay wine
- 1 cup chopped broccoli
- 1 pie crust Pie crust, refrigerated, regular, unbaked
Recipe
Preheat oven to 350
Steam broccoli until half done. 1 minute
Sauté onions and mushrooms in butter with a little white wine.
Blend tofu in blender.
Grate smoked Edam cheese.
Mix with tofu along with nutmeg, salt and pepper.
Add mushroom mixture and broccoli.
Pour mixture into partially baked pie crust.
Sprinkle with Edam cheese
Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes.
