Zaatar is a Lebanese spice mixture of thyme, sumac and salt. This is used as a condiment with olive oil and is spread over toasted pita bread. It is delicious. My daughter Leilani husband is from Egypt. I love this simple recipe. |
Ingredients
Ingredients
- 4 large pita bread
- 1 tablespoon zaatar
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Recipe
Cut Pita bread in half. Put in toaster. Place pita bread on plate and drizzle olive oil on top. Add the zaatar.
