I am amazed that most people do not like okra. This is one of my most favorite Indian dishes. It ’s nice and crispy. I love the spices.

  • 1 1/2 cups okra
  • 2 tablespoons clarified butter
  • 3 teaspoons garam masala
  • 1 tablespoon turmeric
  • dash of salt

Recipe

Wash okra with paper towel.
Cut ends of okra. Slice length wise: cut okra about 3/4 way through.
With a knife spread mixture of garam masala, turmeric and salt inside the okra.
Sauté okra in Ghee (clarified butter) until golden brown.
