Here’s a quick and easy way to cook your fish. This recipe use fresh trout and homemade ginger syrup. The syrup really adds flavor to the fish. 


  • 1 fillet sea trout
  • 1 tablespoon ginger syrup
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon  pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil


Preheat oven to broil
Make ginger syrup. http://whatscookingtreasures.com/Home/Display?row=652. This can be made in advance. 
Add all ingredients into glass baking dish. Turn the fish over twice to absorb the spice and ginger mixture.
Place in oven and cook for 7 to 10 minutes. Do not burn the fish. Garnish with fresh mangos.
