Asparagus with spicy mango sauce

Ingredients

  • dash of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 15 large asparagus spears
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Thai spicy mango sauce
 

Instructions

Heat up skillet on medium high heat. Add butter and olive oil. When butter is melted sauté the asparagus for 1 minute in the pan. Make sure the pan is nice and hot. Place a lid over the pan. Take the pan off the burner. Let it rest for around one minute.
Put on serving plate. Add salt, pepper, paprika and spicy mango sauce. Serve

I love the simple flavor of spicy mango sauce and asparagus. My parents introduced me to asparagus at a young age. I still love it today.
