Ingredients

  • 3 cups water
  • 3 oz black tea
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon  cardamom
  • 1 teaspoon stevia
  • 2 cups milk

Instructions

In small pot add water, black tea, black pepper, 1 cinnamon stick, fresh ginger and cardamom seeds.
Bring to a boil and simmer for 15 minutes.
Add milk then simmer for another 5 minutes.
Add stevia to taste.
Strain then serve.
 

Comments

When I was in India for the first time I was introduced to this beverage. I fell in love with this. On a cold morning I would love to drink this beverage. It would warm me inside.
