Quinoa and peas

Ingredients
- 1 cup quinoa
- 3 cups water
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon turmeric or 1 teaspoon fresh turmeric dice fine
- 1 dash salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup peas
Chank
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1teaspoon mustard seeds
- 7 leaves curry leaves
- 1/4 tablespoon ghee
Instructions
Wash quinoa
Add water and quinoa to pan.
Turn heat to high.
Add diced fresh ginger and turmeric.
When mixture boils turn down heat and let simmer for 15 minutes.
Make Chunk- In separate pan sauté in ghee on a high flame cumin seeds, mustard seeds and 7 curry leaves. Cook until golden brown. Add your peas and cook for around 2 minutes. Add mixture to quinoa. Add salt and black pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
