Ingredients

Blender
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 1 medium tomato
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger 
  • 1 cups Water
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon chat masala
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
 
  • 1 whole juiced lime
  • 5 sprigs fresh cilantro
  • 2 cups black eyed peas
  • 5 cups water
 

Instructions

Put all blender ingredients in blender. Blend until smooth. Add to crock pot. Add the 5 cups water and the black eyed peas.
Cook on low heat for 5 to 8 hours. Add the juiced lime and a more salt if needed. Garnish with fresh cilantro.
