Ingredients

  • 2 cups oats
  • ¼ cup semolina
  • ¼ cup rice flour
  • ½ cup yogurt
  • 2 cups water
  • dash of salt
  • 1 teaspoon toasted cumin seeds
  • 1/4 whole  green chili pepper
  • 1 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 tablespoons chopped coriander
  • 1/2 medium onion diced fine
  • 1 teaspoon diced ginger
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon Garam Masala
Coconut chutney
  • 2 oz coconut flakes
  • 1/2 whole  jalapeno Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/4 tablespoon roasted chana dal
  • dash of salt
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoons mustard seeds
  • 3 leaves curry leaves
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil

Instructions

Combine oatmeal, semolina, rice flour, yogurt and water into a bowl. Stir and set aside for 15 minutes.
Place batter into blender and blend until smooth. Pour mixture back into bowl and add the rest of the ingredients. Stir until everything is smooth.
Heat up a nonstick pan. When pan is hot ladle a spoonful of batter onto the pan. Cook for around 3 minutes or until you can flip the dosa without breaking it. Cook for a few minutes on the other side.
 
Serve with coconut chutney -
Add coconut flakes, jalapeno, ginger, chana dahl, salt and water to blender.
Mix well. Add coconut oil to skillet. When oil is hot add the curry leaves and mustard seeds. When seeds pop take off burner and add to coconut mixture
