Ingredients

  •     15 gnocchi pieces
  •     1 cup half and half milk
  •     4 cups chicken broth or vegetarian chicken broth
  •     3 corn tortillas sliced into triangles
  •    1/16 teaspoon saffron
  •     dash of salt
  •     1/8 teaspoon pepper
 

Instructions

Make gnochi or use store bought

Add chicken broth to pan and simmer. Add spinach and saffron.
 
Cut tortillas strips in triangles.

Drop gnocchi in broth. Add tortillas and milk to broth. Add your salt and pepper 
 
 
 

Comments

This is a delicious soup. It’s a combination of Mexican and Italian. I first made this in the early 80 ’s.
