Ingredients

  • 4 cups cabbage
  • 1 tablespoon ghee
  • 3 teaspoons garam masala
  • 1 tablespoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • dash of salt
  • 1 teaspoon gomasio(optional)

Instructions

Melt ghee in pan. When ghee is hot add the cumin seeds and let them pop. Add you turmeric and garam masala. Add 1/4 cup water and stir for one minute. Add your cabbage and cook until cabbage is done. When serving this vegetable add the sprinkle of gomasio. My wife suggested this and it tastes great and looks great.

I first had this recipe in India many moons ago. I still love it today. It ’s a lot better than boiled cabbage.
