Ingredients

  • 2 slices toasted sourdough bread
  • 4 tablespoons  pesto sauce
  • 4 slice  red tomatoes
  • 4 slices  onion

Instructions

Toast sourdough bread. Spread pesto on bread. Add two tomatoes slices on top of pesto. Add onion slices on top of tomatoes. Sprinkle with salt.
 

Comments

I’ve been making homemade pesto for over 30 years. It’s so easy to make. The store bought version doesn’t compare. This is one of my favorite sandwiches.
