Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 5 leaves curry leaves
  • 5 whole papadum(Indian potato chips)
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

Heat up skillet. When skillet is hot add the coconut oil. When oil is hot add the mustard seeds and curry leaves. When mustard seeds pop add the papadums. Sauté until bubbles appear on the papadums. At the water and mix thoroughly.

 This unusual recipe I got from my co-worker Shweta. It super simple to make and my wife loved it. Many of my Indian friends have never heard about this recipe. It takes 10 minutes to make.
