Ingredients

  • 1 block tofu
  • 3 cloves diced fine garlic
  • 2 tablespoon tamari
  • 1/4 tablespoon sambal oelek(chili paste)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon grass

Instructions

Pre heat oven to broil
Mix all ingredients except for the tofu in a bowl.
Cut tofu into 3 horizontal strips. Cut tofu vertically in half. Take each tofu and dip in sauce bowl. Turn over tofu and dip again.
Place tofu on baking sheet. With a spoon spread the rest of the sauce on top of the tofu. Place in over and cook for around 13 minutes or until tofu is golden brown.
 

Comments

This is a great way to broil tofu Cambodian style. Usually it’s sauteed but I love how broiling tofu it get nice and golden brown without any oil. This is nice and spicy.
