Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 5 large Egg yolk
  • 1 cup half and half milk
  • 1 cup cream
  • 5 leaves fresh Basil
  • 1 cup, whole Mushrooms, |Mushrooms
  • 1 leek Leeks
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tsp saffron
  • 5 oz blue cheese
 

Garnish

  • 2 oz Cheese, goat, soft type
 

Instructions

Preheat oven to 300.
Heat up pan. Add the olive oil, onions and garlic. Sauté for a few minutes. Add the mushrooms and leeks. Sauté until the mushrooms and leeks are done.
In a glass bowl. Add the egg yolks. Wisk for a few minutes. Add the cream and half and half. Add the leeks mixture along with the rest of the ingredients. Wisk until all ingredients are combined.
Pour into a small glass dish. Cook for around 45 minutes to 1 hour until the eggs are done.
 

Comments

This dish is very high in protein. It’s very easy to make. There is no crust.
