Ingredients
- 12 cups water
- 1/2 teaspoon saffron
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 teaspoon allspice
- 2 tablespoons fresh ginger
- 1 teaspoon gumbo file
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 2 whole limes
- 1 tsp, whole star anise | 5 star anise
- 1 teaspoon coriander seed
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon molasses
- 1 tbsp fresh Peppermint |mints leaves | fresh mint
Instructions
Add all ingredients to cooking pan. Bring to a boil and then simmer for 20 minutes. Strain and let it cool.

I created this root beer like beverage. It’s a lot better for you than the commercial root beer.
