Ingredients

  • 4 slices sourdough bread
  • 2 tablespoons romesco sauce
  • 1 medium roasted red bell pepper
  • 4 slices mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

Preheat oven to broil
Make romesco sauce or use store bought sauce

Spread romesco sauce on sourdough bread. Put 1 slice of cheese over the sauce. Add your roasted red pepper slices. Sprinkle fresh parmesan cheese on top.
Broil in oven until cheese is melted and bread is toasted.
 
 

Comments

This is a great open faced sandwich. The romesco sauce and the melted mozzarella go together well. Very easy to make especially when you have all the ingredients on hand.
