Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups cream
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • dash of salt
  • 2 teaspoons stevia
  • 1 cup carob powder

Instructions

Place all ingredients into glass bowl and mix until stevia id dissolved. Place in refrigerator for at least one hour. Pour mixture into ice cream make and churn for 15 minutes. Ice cream will have a soft creamy texture. If you want it firmer place in freezer overnight.

I grew up in Newport Beach Calif and I used to love to ride my bike to the Alta Dena store on 17 street in Costa Mesa. I would buy a pint of carob ice cream. As you can see many years later I ’m still talking about it. You will love this recipe. Carob is Saint John ’s bread which he ate while in the desert.
