Ingredients
Cabbage
- 3 teaspoon Berbere
- 3 teaspoon Niter Kebbeh
- 1/2 medium onion diced fine
- 3 cloves garlic
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1/8 teaspoon fresh diced ginger
- 2 cups fresh diced cabbage
- 2 medium eggs
Shrimp

12 large shrimp

1 teaspoon olive oil
-
2 fl oz chardonnay wine
Instructions
Put eggs in pot. Add water. Water level should cover the eggs. Turn burner to high. Bring to a boil. Turn down heat. Simmer eggs for 15 minutes. Peel eggs and set aside.

Make Niter Kebbeh

Heat up skillet with 1 tablespoon Niter Kebbeh. Sauté onions, garlic and ginger. Sauté until the mixture is golden brown. Add 1 tablespoon Berbere, paprika, 1/4 cup water and your fresh cabbage. Simmer for 5 minutes.

Many Ethiopian restaurants serve shrimp in the United States. Ethiopia does not have shrimp in their country. Anyway the Ethiopian spices go very well with shrimp dishes.
