Ingredients
- 12 wonton wrappers
- 2 cups cabbage
- 1/2 cup spanish peanuts
- 2 teaspoons berbere
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1 dash salt
- 1/4 teaspoon tamari
- 1/4 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/8 tablespoon Mirin Rice Cooking Wine
Instructions
Heat up skillet. Add your olive oil and berbere. Mix together. When oil is hot add your peanuts and roast them for a few minutes. Add your cabbage and cook for around 5 minutes until cabbage is cooked. Add your salt and take off burner.
To make the wontons: Separate and place the wonton wrappers onto your work surface. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the filling onto the center of each wrapper. Use your finger or a pastry brush to lightly moisten the edges of the wonton wrappers with water. Fold one corner of the wrapper over the filling onto the opposite corner to form a triangle. Press the edges together to seal. Place onto the prepared baking sheet
Bake in the preheated oven until the wontons are crisp and golden brown, 10 to 12 minutes.
Take out of oven and place on serving plate. Sprinkle tamari, sesame oil and murin on top.

Comments
This is another dish I made up combining Ethiopian and Chinese cuisine. Instead of frying the wontons I baked them.
