Ingredients
- 20 large cooked shrimp
Marinate ingredients
- 4 tablespoons kecap manis
- 1/4 tablespoon fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon diced shallot
- 1 whole fresh lime juice
Indonesian peanut sauce
- 6 teaspoons peanut sauce
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
- 1 tablespoon kecap manis
- 1/4 tablespoon fish sauce (optional)
Instructions
In mixing bowl add all marinate ingredients. Add the shrimp. Marinate overnight.
Preheat oven to 425.
Put shrimp on skewers. Place in oven and cook for 10 minutes. Baste shrimp every 5 minutes with marinade sauce.
While shrimp is cooking add your peanut sauce, kecap manis,fish sauce and around 1/2 cup coconut milk to a sauce pan. Mix until you have a dipping sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes.
