Ingredients

  • 8 oz shrimp
  • 1/2 medium onion
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 cup green peppers
  • 2 cups  tomato sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon  bay leaf
  • 1/2 teaspoon gumbo file

Instructions

Sauté  onion, garlic and green peppers in butter. Add the rest of the ingredients except for the shrimp and cook for 15 minutes. Add shrimp and cook for another 5 minutes.
