Ingredients

  • 1 fillet mahi mahi
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Salsa

  • 1/2 medium onion
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 medium tomato
  • 1 whole jalapeno pepper
  • 10 sprigs fresh cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • dash of salt
 
  •  4  tortilla corn tortillas 

Instructions

Combine all salsa ingredients together.
Heat up skillet. When skillet is hot add your butter. When butter is hot add the fish. Sauté the fish for a few minutes. Flip over. Sauté for another few minutes. Both sides should be golden brown.
 
Serve with guacamole tomatillo salsa
 
 

Comments

This is my version of fish tacos. It’s not the classic Baja fish taco. It’s a mixture of California and mainland Mexico.
