Ingredients

  • 6 oz  Chicken, skin (drumsticks and thighs), raw
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1/8 teaspoon saffron
  • 1 tablespoon turmeric
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 2 whole fresh lemon juice

Instructions

Add water to saucepan. When water boils take off burner and add the saffron. Let it sit for a few minutes
 
Heat up pan. Add olive oil. When oil is hot add the onions and sauté them until they are golden brown. Add the drumsticks. Sauté them for a few minutes. Turn them over frequently. Add the turmeric. Sauté for a few minutes.
Add 1/4 cup water and stir. Add the saffron and turn down the heat and simmer for around 10 minutes. Add the lemon juice and a dash of salt.
